OUR STORY

A Decade of Sourcing Excellence

Incorporated on 20th August 2014, Folium Trading Private Limited has spent over a decade building strong supply chain networks with mills and miners across the globe. Under the visionary guidance of our promoters, we have diversified from fine papers into bulk industrial materials including steam coal, coking coal, and high-purity silica sand.

We handle end-to-end trading operations—from identifying credible manufacturing facilities and mining concessions, validating material grades in independent laboratories, arranging international sea logistics, and executing custom clearances to deliver materials right to our clients' doorsteps.

Company Milestones

2014
Folium Trading Private Limited incorporated on August 20, 2014, in Chennai, India, specialized in importing fine writing and printing papers.
2018
Expanded partner mills network to Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, and Canada. Diversified into importing folding box boards and thermal papers.
2021
Entered into bulk energy trading, starting direct imports of Steam Coal & Coking Coal from major mining companies in Indonesia.
2024
Partnered with miners in Vietnam to trade high-purity Silica Sand for the glass manufacturing and water purification industries.

Co-Founder & Sourcing Director

Mr. Mansoor Ali J is a key promoter and co-founder of Folium Trading. With over 10 years of direct experience in the international sourcing and marketing of imported paper, paperboards, coal, and allied commodities, he heads the strategic procurement operations and international relations of the business.

Mr. M H Sahul Hameed

Co-Founder & Marketing Director

Mr. M H Sahul Hameed is a co-founder and promoter who steers marketing, logistics, and domestic market distribution. Backed by a decade of supply chain expertise, he ensures efficient customs processing, bulk freight transport, and customer service delivery across South Asia.
